Inclusion

About

Socially Inclusive Communities Project was rolled out from 2015 - 2017. The project aimed to target the wider community to promote acceptance of diversity and inclusive practices across the Campaspe and Murray Shires.
Reflective of the composition of our community, the project focussed on promoting acceptance of Aboriginal people, people with disability and individuals at risk of social exclusion through rurally isolation or economical vulnerability. We now work to promote inclusion by supporting the One and All Inclusion Project and Wear Orange for Inclusion days.

LGBTIQ

Campaspe is home to many people who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex and queer (LGBTIQ). While LGBTIQ encompasses diverse communities and individuals, LGBTIQ people share generally poorer health and wellbeing outcomes than the heterosexual and cisgendered community.
